[WATCH] KL Rahul’s Reaction As Rohit Sharma Hits Stunning Pull Shot Six

After bagging a duck against Australia in India’s World Cup 2023 opening match in Chennai, India captain Rohit Sharma unleashed his fury on the helpless Afghanistan bowlers.

Afghanistan ran into a rampant Rohit Sharma on Wednesday in their encounter at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The India skipper Rohit Sharma brought up his fifty in 30 balls and his century in 63 balls. En route he broke a few records.

This is now the fastest ODI World Cup century by an Indian batsman, beating Kapil Dev’s record of 72 balls in the 1983 World Cup. Sharma now has 7 centuries in the World Cup, the highest of all-time, going past Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 6 World Cup centuries. He also now has hit most number of international sixes, going past Chris Gayle’s tally of 553 sixes.

One of those six he hit today was a massive one that even dropped the jaws of KL Rahul and Rahul Dravid. Sharma smashed pacer Azmatullah Omarzai for a stunning six with his trademark pull shot in the 9th over of India’s innings. It went high up in the air and deep into the stands in Delhi.

The camera then spotted the reactions of KL Rahul and Rahul Dravid, both sitting together in the dressing room. Both had their jaws dropped with KL then putting his hand over his mouth, admiring the incredible six from Rohit Sharma.
