After the match, KL Rahul was asked about his unique celebrations, to which he said:

My mindset’s very clear, I know my responsibility. I’ll let the celebration stay a mystery. Today was my day, I was hitting the ball well, fortunately, it came off. All the conversations between me and Rohit are mostly tactical, we plan that and try to execute, happy that all those plans came off today,”

Well, whatever the reason was his performance gave a brilliant kickstart to team India, who went on to win the second ODI against West Indies by 107 runs.
