KL Rahul’s Gesture For Youngster Cameron Green Is Pure Class

KL Rahul’s Gesture For Youngster Cameron Green Is Pure Class: Cameron Green, the young Australian all-rounder, who made his debut for the national side in the last game of the three-match ODI series against India. He received his maiden ODI cap and did a great job with bat and ball in his debut match.

Though Cameron couldn’t take a wicket but he bowled four good overs and returned back with the figures of 0/27. He batted at number 5 above Glenn Maxwell and Alex Carey. He was able to aggregate 21 runs off 27 balls before he lost his wicket to Kuldeep Yadav.

While India and Australia are known for their arch-rivalry on the field, but the cricketers share a great camaraderie with each other, and the same is often highlighted during the games, where they don’t leave any opportunity to indulge in some light moments on-field. And the same was witnessed in the last ODI match.

Indian wicket-keeper batsman KL Rahul shared a few words with Green that the Perth Scorchers never expected. Green revealed:

“I was actually taken back with how nice KL Rahul was behind the stumps. I think he asked me whether I was nervous or not and I just replied saying, ‘Yeah, I was a little bit nervous.’ He was like, ‘Yeah, go well youngster’ type of thing. So I was actually a bit taken back, I thought it would have been pretty opposite”

He also revealed that while Virat was trying to be pretty loud, on the other hand, Aaron Finch was trying to get into his skin and this is when KL Rahul came to his rescue and Green claimed that he would never forget that gesture. He said:

I think Virat was trying to be pretty loud at the time. Finchy tried to get under his skin with a couple of words. Yeah, I was a bit taken back with how nice that was, so I’ll remember that forever.”
