Kris Srikkanth Trolled Michael Vaughan: The Indian cricket team has been receiving praises from all corners for their clinical performances in the warm-up matches organized by the ICC, ahead of India’s campaign in the T20 World Cup 2021. The Men in Blue defeated England and Australia in their two warm-up games ahead of the Super 12 stages of the high-voltage tournament

Team India defeated England by 7 wickets in their 1st warm-up match and Australia by 8 wickets in the second warm-up match. Impressed with India’s dominant performances in the warm-up matches, Michael Vaughan took to his Twitter and heaped praises on the Indian cricket team, he also expressed how he feels that India is now “hot favorites” to win the title. He wrote:

“The way India are playing the warm-up games suggests they may be now Hot favourites to Win the #T20WorldCup.”

Fans on social media were left annoyed and confused with the sudden change in Michael Vaughan’s thoughts and in no time he was getting trolled left, right, and center for the same.

For the unversed, earlier this week, the former England skipper had expressed his surprise about how the Indian cricket team was being tagged as the favorites for winning the T20 World Cup. He had said:

“England for me are the favourites. I don’t know how India get the ‘favourites’ tag in T20 cricket. I just think they’ve been a long way off in the last few tournaments.”

He added:

“West Indies and Pakistan will be threats. I wouldn’t write off Pakistan either. New Zealand have high-class players and you know they will come up with strategies to win games,”

Among many, former Indian cricketer and commentator Kris Srikkanth also joined the bandwagon and came up with a savage response to Michael Vaughan. In his Tweet, Kris Srikkanth took a dig at Vaughan taking a u-turn from his statement by writing how a lot of turns are expected. He said:

“I think a lot of turn was expected”
