Dhoni’s tactics have always come handy for team India and have always added to India’s fortunes. Dhoni is the boss anyway even if he has stepped down from captaincy.

He owns the tactical strategies like a boss and frankly there’s no one better at it.
As India thumped Sri Lanka in the Vizag ODI and won the series, Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav expressed great happiness in having Dhoni around. Both the wrist spinners picked up three wickets each and weaved a trap around the Lankan batsmen with their spin.
Chahal got the all important breakthrough when Tharanga and Samarawickrama were going strong. Chahal dismissed Samarawickrama and that was the beginning of a turnaround of things. The rest was done by an over from Kuldeep Yadav in which he picked up both Tharanga and Dickwella.
Lucky to have Dhoni
In a post match interview the two spinners said that they feel lucky to have Dhoni who’s always there to offer help with his tactics. They said that Dhoni keeps telling them the right areas to bowl in and hence they feel lucky to have his guidance.
Both the spinners have been valuable additions to India’s fortunes and have cemented their place with authority.
They are not afraid to flight the ball are always looking for wickets. This hunt for wickets is what makes them so special.
