VIDEO - "Paagal Hai Kya?" : Kuldeep Yadav Lost His Cool At Mukesh Kumar, Rishabh Pant Calms Down

Kuldeep Yadav’s expressive nature on the field was on full display once again during Wednesday’s match between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans in the ongoing IPL 2024.

Kuldeep Yadav got visibly upset and confronted his teammate after they made an inaccurate throw during the eighth over while he was bowling to Rahul Tewatia from the Gujarat Titans.

During the fifth delivery of the over, Kuldeep Yadav bowled a full-length delivery that turned away, and Rahul Tewatia pushed the ball towards the point region. Abhinav Manohar, who was positioned at the non-striker’s end, opted for a quick single.

Tewatia, however, had his focus on the ball, while Mukesh Kumar sprinted towards it, picked it up, and aimed a throw towards the non-striker’s end, where Manohar was positioned well beyond the crease. However, the throw from Mukesh Kumar was inaccurate, leading Kuldeep Yadav to lose his temper, as he was heard shouting, “Pagal wagal hai kya? (Are you crazy?)”

In a historic low for GT, they were dismissed for just 89 runs in under 18 overs after being put in to bat first. This marks the first time GT has been bowled out for under 100 runs in an IPL innings, with their previous lowest score being 125/6, coincidentally also against DC.

GT struggled from the outset, losing wickets early and failing to build momentum throughout their innings. Only three GT batsmen managed to reach double digits, with Rashid Khan top-scoring with 31 runs. Sai Sudharsan (12) and Rahul Tewatia (10) were the other contributors in the double-digit range.

DC’s bowlers were dominant, with right-arm pacer Mukesh Kumar leading the charge with figures of 3 wickets for 14 runs in less than three overs. Ishant Sharma and Tristan Stubbs also chipped in with two wickets each.
