Rohit Sharma’s third ODI ton is being hailed heavily by the cricket fraternity. He was just splendid in the manner he led from the front in a game that was a must win for the men in blue.

Rohit’s unbeaten staggering knock of 208 assured India a hefty win at Mohali. The best part about this double century of his was the fact that unlike other double centuries he did not give the opposition any chance to get the better of him. He was just flawless and he constructed his innings with great prudence.

The double ton of Rohit Sharma at Mohali was also hailed by Kumar Sangakkara. Kumar Sangakkara is one of the greatest wicket keeper batsmen to have ever played the game.

Kumar Sangakkara was all praises for the stand in Indian captain. Though his Tweet came a day later after Rohit scored his third double ton but never late than never.

Sangakkara said that’s to have three double tons in just ridiculous. This is indeed a great compliment coming from Sangakkara as he’s one of the best cricketers to have ever played the game.

Here’s his tweet:

Third double hundred? In ODI’s? Ridiculous. What a player @ImRo45 is. Incredible performance

— Kumar Sangakkara (@KumarSanga2) December 14, 2017

Before this double ton Rohit had scored 264 against Sri Lanka and 209 against the Aussies. But this one came as being a captain and was special. However when Rohit was asked about his favourite double ton he said that the knock
of 264 is the closest to his heart since that came after he returned from an injury.
