Virat Kohli-led Indian cricket team is all set to lock horns against New Zealand in the much-awaited World Test Championship next month. Team India’s dominant run in the league stage impressed one and all and received praises from all corners of the cricket fraternity. The remarkable run of team India in the league stage featured a series win over cricketing superpowers England and Australia.

1. Ajinkya Rahane (1095):

Ajinkya Rahane will miss India’s next two Tests against England after breaking his finger

India’s test specialist, Ajinkya Rahane is one of the two Indian batsmen to score more than 1000 runs in the prestigious tournament. Rahane is the leading run-getter for team India in the World Test Championship with 1095 runs. So far, Ajinkya has scored 3 centuries and six half-centuries for India in 17 matches.

2. Rohit Sharma (1030):

Indian opener Rohit Sharma turned out to be India’s savior for the Indian cricket team in the England series. He also played a crucial cameo in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. So far, in the World Test Championship Rohit has scored 1030 runs in the 11 appearances he made for team India.

Mayank Agarwal turned out to be a star performer for India in the South Africa series and played the best knock of his Test career by scoring 243 runs against the Proteas. Later on, he was replaced by Shubman Gill in the team India. So far, he has scored 857 runs in 12 matches for India.

5. Cheteshwar Pujara (818):
