Lungi Ngidi Did Something To MS Dhoni That Even Virat Kohli Can’t Do: Chennai Super Kings won the match last night beating Kings XI Punjab by 5 wickets, forcing the Kings out of the playoffs. With the victory in the last night’s match, Chennai Super Kings confirmed their second spot on the points table with 18 points.
However, the curtains were down for them as soon as CSK crossed the 100 run mark as the team had to win the match with a margin of 53 runs.

MS Dhoni and his team were on fire last night, the team gave brilliant performances in all the three departments of the game. Throughout the match, we saw many heart-winning performances by our top players, however, the main man in the first innings was Lungi Nagidi, who bundled up all the top players of KXIP.

The ace bowler of the team, Lungi Ngidi took 4 four wickets and once again stunned everyone with his impeccable bowling style.
Starting from the star players, the openers of the team KL Rahul and Chris Gayle were sent back to pavilion after they faced a few balls. Lungi then accounted for Ravi Ashwin and Andrew Tye’s dismissals, both of them failed to score much last night and went back to pavilion after a few balls.

The wicket of R.Ashwin was special in every way. Ashwin missed that ball that went straight to MS Dhoni behind the stumps. Lungi Ngidi was the only person who had heard a nick, not even a single person heard the nick, not even Dhoni, who is considered to have the sharpest ears in the business. However, MS Dhoni went with Lungi Ngidi and asked for the review and it turned out to be a good decision for the team as R.Ashwin had slightly touched the bat.
Well, in case you missed the moment, have a look at the video here:
