Jayawardene congratulates India

India won the 3 Match series 2-1 and registered an authoritative victory over the Lankans. Mahela Jayawardene congratulated team India for the series win. Russel Arnold gave his analysis of the final ODI and said that Sri Lanka seemed in the game only for the first 20 overs.

Well played @BCCI and winning the series. SL had a good start but couldn’t stay in the game. Lessons to learn and more hard work.

Ashes kept cricket fraternity excited

Australia is cruising literally in the third Ashes Test. A double ton from Steve Smith and century from Mitchel Marsh has put the Aussies in the driver’s seat. Starc’s splendid bowling made Wasim Akram, the former pace legend and Shane Warne, the boss of turn Tweeting in appreciation.
Sachin joined the act too

The little Master met his old friend Javagal Srinath and the two and a great time. Both were a part of the Indian team for long and enjoy a healthy friendship among them.

The South African fielding sensation, Jonty Rhodes too took to social media to share a picture of his Rum moment in the biting cold of North India.

Here are the top trending posts from the cricket fraternity Today:

SL seem to be playing Only 20 overs out of the 100. Today were brilliant with bat in the 1st 20 and in Dharamsala picked up 7 wickets in the 1st 20 overs which sealed the win
