The former Indian skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni was all set to make his comeback with IPL 2020, however, he had to return back home from the training camp of Chennai Super Kings after the season was suspended because of the Coronavirus pandemic.

A lot of speculations have been going around MS Dhoni’s cricketing future lately. Though there are many who are backing the player for the world cup, on the other hand, many people are against the idea as it has been a long since MS Dhoni was seen in action on-field.

While MS Dhoni has been awfully silent about the speculations, recently, a source closed to the former Indian skipper, revealed that he wants to play IPL for atleast three years. The source revealed:

“It’s a known fact and he told his close friends too that he wants to play for IPL for at least three years,”

He added:

“He personally really enjoys playing for the franchise and the enthralling nature of the IPL. He is all but done with international cricket but IPL is something he wants to build his post retirement career around.”

The source also revealed that he wants to play a lot of cricket in his state Jharkhand and give it back to his state. The source revealed:

“He wants to do a lot for cricket in his state, so he’s currently thinking about that. One thing you know about MS Dhoni is that he will never rush into anything. Even if he might have a lot of plans in his head, he won’t rush into anything unless he’s sure of it.”

The source also revealed how the former skipper has been spending time with his family during the lockdown. The source revealed:

“Dhoni is finally getting time to spend with his family, something he never could,”

The source also made a major revelation by saying that MS Dhoni doesn’t want to play for team India anymore. The source said:

“Right now, he doesn’t want to play for India anymore. I know a lot of people are speculating that based on a good IPL he will fight for a India spot, (but) that is definitely not the case.”
