Bhuvneshwar Kumar is indeed one of India’s biggest positives they would be carrying back from South Africa. As India won the T20 series after a thumping win the ODI series, Bhuvneshwar Kumar ended up as the man of the series.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up 7 wickets in the T20 series and became India’s highest wicket taker ever in a bilateral T20 series. He also became India’s first ever bowler to have picked a 5 wicket haul in each format.
Now, Bhuvneshwar Kumar feels that the team is all set for the tour of England and Australia in this year after the success in South Africa. Here’s what Bhuvneshwar Kumar said
“We dont want to be too greedy and we are happy with these two trophies. Hopefully next time we will win all the three trophies,”
Bhuvneshwar further added
This tour has been brilliant, particularly talking about Test series. Yes we lost two matches, but they were very close. We could have also lost 3-0 or won 2-1 instead. But it gives us confidence in whatever way we have played, and we are ready to go to England and Australia, and do better there,”
Bhuvi Highlighted That Variations Are The Key
Talking about variations in limited overs cricket, Bhuvneshwar Kumar
said
“T20 cricket is all about using variations and timing has to be perfect. Whatever knuckle ball I have bowled, I wanted batsmen to go after that. That way you can get wickets and thats one of the main reasons why I have been successful in power plays”
