Indian cricketer Manoj Tiwary took a dig at the Pakistan cricketers from his official Instagram account. In his latest Instagram post, Manoj Tiwary shared the screenshot of several statements made by the Pakistani cricketers, who criticized Indian cricket and cricketers.
For the unversed, the Pakistani cricketers are accusing BCCI of its influence on allegedly pushing the World Cup in order to host IPL 2020. Manoj Tiwary slammed the Pakistani cricketers for their ‘jealousy’, which is being reflected in their statements.
Statements made by Pakistani cricketers:
Some of the statements by Pakistani cricketers, which are shared by Manoj Tiwary are a direct attack on the Indian cricketers. The first statement is of Shoaib Akhtar, who via his YouTube video had accused BCCI of making ICC push the T20 World Cup in order to make space for IPL 2020. Shoaib had claimed:
“T20 World Cup is postponed because BCCI doesn’t want to damage the IPL, BCCI has money power, let the world cup go to hell.”
In another statement by Shoaib Akhtar, he brought up the ‘Monkeygate’ incident and slammed Australia cricket and BCCI. He had said:
“You make kids cry for scratching a cricket ball but someone gets saved after calling another person a monkey.”
In his post, Manoj Tiwary also shared a statement from fast bowler Waqar Younis, where he took a dig at Virat Kohli’s fitness. He had said:
“Pakistan Cricket team won’t copy Virat Kohli’s fitness, will set our own standards.”
Lastly, Manoj Tiwary shared the statements by Salman Butt, who was issued a lifetime ban from playing cricket because of his involvement in spot-fixing. In his statements, Salman Butt slammed Jofra Archer and had claimed how he deserved the punishment. He had claimed:
“Rules and rules, Jofra Archer should not have broken them.”
Sharing the screenshot of all these statements on his Instagram account, Manoj Tiwary slammed these cricketers and wrote:
“Just look at these statements. Damn So much of jealousy. Salman butt, u don’t have the right to speak on rules nd regulations ? I just wish God will bless them wit some sense ?”
