CSK will take on either MI or defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT). Sri Lankan pacer Matheesha Pathirana has played an instrumental role in the success of four-time IPL champs this season.
Matheesha Pathirana’s Sister Revealed MS Dhoni’s Priceless Words
Sri Lankan pacer Matheesha Pathirana has thrived well under MS Dhoni’s tutelage. Pathirana, who only played just 2 games in the last season, has impressed one and all with his clinical performance in the ongoing season. He has picked up 17 wickets in 11 matches at an average of 19.24.
Meanwhile, ahead of the final match on Sunday, Dhoni met with Pathirana’s family in Chennai. Later, after the meeting Pathirana’s sister shared some pictures on her Instagram handle.
In the picture, Dhoni can be seen posing with Pathirana’s family and his sister as well. Sharing the pictures, Matheesha’s sister Vishuka Pathirana wrote a heartwarming post for Dhoni.
In her post, Vishuka revealed her conversation with Dhoni. She also expressed how she is now secure that her brother is in the right hands. Taking to Instagram, Vishuka shared a picture of Dhoni and the Pathirana family, while also revealing Dhoni’s heartwarming message to her. She wrote:
“Now we are sure that malli is in safe hands when thala said “You have nothing to worry about Matheesha,he’s always with me🥺” These moments were even beyond what I had ever dreamt of😌”
