[IND vs PAK Memes] Iftikhar Ahmed Got Trolled Badly For His Funny Reaction After Getting Bowled

Iftikhar Ahmed

Of all the funny reactions that cricketers give, perhaps those from Iftikhar Ahmed are the funniest. Whether it was last month in Sri Lanka during the Asia Cup, or today in the World Cup 2023 encounter against India, Iftikhar Ahmed’s mouth remaining open in shock and stun has led to several hilarious memes.

The context is that Iftikhar Ahmed was bowled by Kuldeep Yadav. It wasn’t a good delivery at all; in fact, it was a terrible delivery down the leg-side that Iftikhar, or any batsman with the ability to hold the bat, would have hit for a boundary 8 out of 10 times.

But, well, for Iftikhar Ahmed it was the time when he not only he failed to connect with his sweep to a ball that was a distance away from the leg-side, but indeed he under-gloved it back onto his stumps and was bowled! Leg-stump uprooted.

Kuldeep Yadav has bowled some magic balls in his career, but he might remember this one for a while because of the sheer luck of his to get Iftikhar out that way.

Kuldeep and the Indians in the entire Narendra Modi Stadium jumped in elation, while Iftikhar stood there with his mouth forming a gaping hole in disbelief and shock. This led to a spate of memes.

Funny memes on Iftikhar Ahmed’s reaction after getting out to Kuldeep:

Iftikhar was part of the great Pakistani collapse which will now be remembered for a long time. Pakistan collapsed from 155/2 to 191 all-out, losing their last 8 wickets in only 36 runs. Five India bowlers – Bumrah, Siraj, Hardik, Jadeja, and Kulldep – took two wickets each.

Even though this is a two-paced surface and tricky to bat on, India are expected to chase this target down.

Teams:

India (Playing XI): Rohit Sharma(c), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul(w), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj

Pakistan (Playing XI): Abdullah Shafique, Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam(c), Mohammad Rizwan(w), Saud Shakeel, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Hasan Ali, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf
