MI vs LSG: Harsha Bhogle Trolled The ‘Mighty’ Mumbai Indians

Popular Indian commentator and cricket analyst Harsha Bhogle took a hilarious dig at the ‘mighty’ Mumbai Indians as they continue to struggle in the ongoing 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League.

Struggling badly to open their account with first points on the points table of IPL 2022 after losing five back-to-back defeats so far, Mumbai Indians are currently locking its horns against Lucknow Super Giants at the Brabourne Stadium.

The five-time champions — Mumbai Indians are struggling like never before and it won’t be wrong to say that the team is looking nothing like the champions they have been in the tournament so far.

Several experts and pundits feel like the bowling line-up of Mumbai Indians is one of the major reasons behind their disastrous run in the ongoing season. Their bowling is the only reason why their run rate per over has gone up as they don’t have good bowlers to pick wickets. Though, they have a pretty good batting line-up but their job becomes more difficult when the bowlers are giving away 14-16 runs per over.

The terrible form of Mumbai Indians’ bowlers once again came under the scanner on Saturday, during the game against Lucknow Super Giants as all the other bowlers excluding Jasprit Bumrah leaked a lot of runs.

While Tymal Mills leaked 54 runs in his 3 overs, on the other hand, Fabien Allen leaked 46 runs in his 4 overs, while picking 1 wicket. Jaydev Unadkat picked 2 wickets while giving away 32 runs. Jasprit Bumrah turned out to be the least expensive bowler as he gave away only 24 runs in his 4 overs quota, however, he went wicketless.

Jasprit Bumrah ended his fiery spell with 0/24 from 4 overs when Lucknow was going over 9.5 RPO.

Meanwhile, Harsha Bhogle took to his Twitter and trolled Mumbai Indians in his trademark style. Bhogle joked how MI needs Jasprit to bowl 10 out of the 20 overs. He wrote:

“Basically, #MI need Bumrah to bowl 10 out of the 20 overs…..”
