MI vs PBKS: Mayank Agarwal Made A Special Change For The Match

Mayank Agarwal-led Punjab Kings is currently locking its horns against five-time champions Mumbai Indians in the ongoing IPL 2022 match at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

Punjab Kings have gotten off to a good start in the ongoing IPL 2022, having won 2 out of their first 3 matches. However, their newly-appointed Mayank Agarwal was under the scanner of critics because of his disappointing performances with the bat.

Mayank Agarwal, who has been one of the most consistent run-scorer of the Punjab-based franchise was struggling to get going with the bat. He had managed to amass just 37 runs in 3 matches in IPL 2022, which included the 32 runs he smashed against RCB in their opening game. Following this, he has gotten out for 1 (vs KKR) and 4 (vs CSK).

However, seems like he has finally found his form back and is now going to make life difficult for the bowlers of other franchises. The PBKS skipper scored his first half-century of the ongoing IPL 2022.

Well, during the ongoing match against Mumbai Indians, Mayank Agarwal walked out to open the innings on his side along with Shikhar Dhawan to open the innings for his side, after being invited to bat first by Rohit Sharma. Agarwal, who was struggling with his form, made a solid comeback and smashed a stunning fifty off the 32 balls, smashing 6 fours and 2 fours. He was well supported by Shikhar Dhawan from the other side.

Meanwhile, fans on social media were thrilled after Mayank’s stunning performance and came up with amazing reactions to it. Several fans also noticed the special change Mayank brought to the game.

Well, fans pointed out the fact that Mayank Agarwal was the elbow support, which brought some special luck to him. The last time when he wore the elbow support, he smashed a triple century against Hyderabad, and today a fantastic half-century.
