The world cup winning captain of Australia, Michael Clarke and his wife Kyly left everyone in shock, on Wednesday after they released a joint statement announcing their separation. Yes after seven years of their beautiful marriage, the couple has decided to end their beautiful relationship.
Michael Clarke married ‘Avatar’ movie star Kyly in May 2012 was one of the most loved couples in the cricketing world. The couple is even blessed with a four-year-old daughter.

On Wednesday, the couple took to their respective social media accounts and released a joint statement about their separation, where they explained the ‘difficult decision to separate as a couple. The statement read:
“After living apart for some time, we have made the difficult decision to separate as a couple, amicably,”
“With the greatest of respect for each other, we’ve come to the mutual conclusion that this is the best course for us to take while committed to the co-parenting of our daughter”
If rumors are to be believed then the couple parted ways 5 months ago, with the Australian cricketer moving out of their home in Vaucluse before he relocated to the pair’s Bondi beachfront pad, that is worth $8 million.

In their statement, the couple further requested for privacy so that the couple can decide about their future. The statement read:
“We’d like to acknowledge the wonderful support we’ve had from family and friends, and at this time request privacy so that we can manage this next stage of our lives,”
The couple has decided to settle their divorce without going to court. They have reportedly reached a financial settlement and have decided to establish co-parenting arrangements for their daughter, Kelsey Lee.
