Former Indian opener Wasim Jaffer and former England skipper Michael Vaughan have been engaged in Twitter banter ever since team India returned back from behind to win the Test series in Australia 2-1 earlier this year. Both the cricketers are often seen indulging in banters on social media. And the promo of a recent interview of Vaughan once again triggered a banter between them both.

Well, recently, in a promo of an upcoming interview, Michael Vaughan was asked about one cricketer that he would like to block on the micro-blogging site Twitter and the former cricketer was quick in naming Wasim Jaffer.

Seeing Vaughan’s response, Wasim Jaffer, who is known for his hilarious sense of humor, came up with a hilarious reply. In his tweet, Jaffer shared a picture with the Indian cricket team celebrating a series win indicating that he was happy with Vaughan wanting to block him.

The picture is from India’s only Test series triumph in England. Jaffer was part of the Indian team, where he even scored a half-century in the only match India won, while, Vaughan was leading the England’s side. Sharing the picture, he wrote:

“Me and my friends after knowing @MichaelVaughan wants to block me”

Well, this wasn’t it, Michael Vaughan was quick to notice the tweet and come up with a cheeky answer to Jaffer. In his reply, Vaughan wrote that he can never block the player that got out of his filthy off-spin. He wrote:

“I would never do that Wasim … No player that got out to my filthy off spin will ever be blocked.”
