Michael Vaughan Finally Accepts That India Is Better Than England

Michael Vaughan Finally Accepts That India Is Better Than England: It was a crazy day at the Home of Cricket yesterday! It was a thrilling win for Team India after a high-voltage match against England. As the day began on Day 5, Rishabh Pant had a lot of responsibility on his shoulders. Winning looked very difficult after India was left with 181/6 with a lead of only 154 runs.

When things started to look going towards the England side, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami and changed course of the game. The duo had some other plans as they frustrated the England bowlers throughout the day.

Shami and Bumrah’s batting onslaughts took their side to a respectable total and also increased their chances of defeating England at the iconic Lord’s Stadium. Both the cricketers showed immense fighting spirit and boosted confidence in their team (and fans) with their stunning display of batting.

The duo went on to add an unbeaten 89 runs for the ninth wicket. While Mohammed Shami scored the most crucial half-century of his career, on the other hand, Jasprit  impressed everyone with his aggressive show with the bat. Both the cricketers took the target to 271 runs for England with 60 overs to bowl.

Later, when England came out to chase the target, the Indian side got off to a dream start as they sent both the openers back to the pavilion before they could score any run. Though the England side tried to form partnerships but the Indian bowlers were in a red-hot avatar. They kept the England batsmen at their toes by picking wickets at regular intervals.

The Indian side managed to bundle up opposition at only 120 runs. Mohammed Siraj was once again the pick of bowlers as he picked 4 crucial wickets, while Jasprit picked 3 wickets.

Meanwhile, as soon as India won the match, fans on social media went berserk and started celebrating the win with their amazing win. Amidst this, former England skipper Michael Vaughan posted a beautiful tweet praising the Indian cricket team.

In his Tweet, Vaughan finally admitted that the Indian side is better than the England side. He wrote: “Amazing game of Cricket .. India today showed why they are so much better than England .. The belief to Win was immense .. #ENGvsIND”
