Former England captain Michael Vaughan has found himself at the receiving end of trolling after England’s ’embarrassing’ defeat by the hands of Australia in the just-concluded third Test match. Australia went up 3-0 in the ongoing five-match Ashes Test series, with this win at the MCG by an innings and 14 runs.

The England cricket team was bundled up for just 68 runs in the second innings as Australia retained the Ashes. Scott Boland was the pick of the bowler as he picked up a five-wicket haul on debut and finished with incredible figures of 6/7, helping Australia take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series.

Following the humiliating defeat, former England captain Michael Vaughan’s old tweet about team India resurfaced on social media and fans started trolling him left, right and center. The old tweet was posted by Michael Vaughan during an ODI encounter between India and New Zealand in 2019 when India was bundled up at 92 runs.

As England suffered a humiliating defeat, former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer, who is known for his hilarious tweets, didn’t miss out on the opportunity to troll Vaughan over the old Tweet. In order to make Vaughan regret his Tweet, Jaffer shared a video of himself opening up the tweet on his phone as he poked fun at the former English skipper. Sharing the video, Jaffer wrote:

“England 68 all out @MichaelVaughan #Ashes”

Here, check out the Tweet:

Vaughan was quick to notice the video and to come up with a reply to it. He wrote: “Very good Wasim”

Meanwhile, now with back-to-back, three straight losses, the England cricket team led by Joe Root has nothing but pride to play for in the remaining two games in Hobart and Sydney.
