Michael Vaughan Hailed BCCI‘s Decision To Postpone IPL 2021: On Tuesday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India took a bold decision on Tuesday as having hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, BCCI suspended IPL 2021 for the time being. The decision came after several players turned COVID positive within the IPL bio bubble, which has led to the suspension of the season mid-way.

BCCI took to their official social media account to confirm the same. Sharing the news, BCCI via their ‘Indian Premier League’ account wrote:

“UPDATE: The Indian Premier League Governing Council (IPL GC) and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in an emergency meeting has unanimously decided to postpone IPL 2021 season with immediate effect.”

Meanwhile, as soon as the news came out, fans on social media went berserk and were left heartbroken. However, the news was welcomed with mixed reactions. While there were many who slammed BCCI for their decision, on the other hand, there were many who hailed BCCI for the sensible decision.

Among many, former England skipper Michael Vaughan also took to his twitter and gave his opinion on the same. Vaughan came out in support of BCCI’s decision to postpone IPL 2021.

In his tweet, Vaughan called the postponement a sensible decision and also prayed for the well-being of everyone in India. He concluded by saying that players will soon find a way to return home safely. He wrote:
