Michael Vaughan Named The Better Indian Skipper Between MS Dhoni And Virat Kohli: Former Indian cricketer MS Dhoni and current Indian skipper Virat Kohli are two of the most successful skippers produced by the Indian cricket team.

While Dhoni is hailed as one of the greatest skippers, having won all the ICC trophies – the T20 World Cup in 2007, the 50-over World Cup in 2011, and the 2013 Champions Trophy – while taking the Indian cricket team to the number 1 position. On the other hand, Kohli has proven to be India’s best Test captain of all time. Currently, the Indian cricket team is ranked number 1 in the world.

Recently, former England skipper Michael Vaughan was asked to name the better skipper between the two and the former cricketer didn’t hesitate in giving his opinion like he always does. Vaughan picked MS Dhoni and showered praises on the legendary skipper. He said:

MS… MS, I think he’s the trailblazer, particularly in the white-ball and T20 game. He’s the best over T20 captain by a good distance. I think what he brought to the Indian team was fantastic,”

Further, in the interview, Vaughan also heaped praises on Kohli and claimed that he is a better Test skipper and he would pick Kohli over Dhoni when it comes to the longest format of the game. He said:

“I would say that Virat is the better Test captain. Virat leads the Test team brilliantly so I would have Virat over MS in test cricket but in white-ball cricket is MS. But if you ask me for one… I had to only pick one across all formats, just as a captain, I would pick MS Dhoni,”

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli will be seen leading the Indian cricket team in the much-awaited World Test Championship Final next month, followed by a five-match Test series against England.
