Former England skipper Michael Vaughan is one of the most vocal personalities of the cricket world. He is known for living with his heart on his sleeves. Vaughan took a dig at BCCI and IPL after the news of T Natarajan testing positive for COVID-19 came out.
On Wednesday, clouds of uncertainty have once again surrounded the Indian Premier League, with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) pacer T Natarajan testing COVID-19 positive. Besides him, another Sunrisers Hyderabad Vijay Shankar, and five other members of the support staff have been identified as close contacts of the sensational pacer.
Meanwhile, social media has been flooded with reactions from the fans and cricket fraternity on the recent developments. Among many, former England skipper Michael Vaughan took to his Twitter and took a dig at the BCCI by comparing the situation with the last Test match.
Well, the fifth and last Test match of the Indian vs England Test series was canceled after an “outbreak of COVID-19 in the Indian team contingent”. Michael Vaughan has been very vocal about his disappointment with the cancelation of the last Test match. He even went on to blame the IPL for the departure of the Indian players without playing in Manchester.
On Wednesday, he was at it again after the news of T Nataraj testing positive for COVID-19 came out. Replying to a story by Cricbuzz, featuring the news of Natarajan testing positive with COVID, Vaughan took a sly dig at the IPL by writing that he is waiting for the cancellation of IPL just like how the last Test was canceled.
