MS Dhoni, the former captain of India, is regarded as the most successful captain in the history of Indian cricket. Having won two ICC World Cups and one champions trophy for the country, MS Dhoni emerged out as one of the greatest captains in the world.
He led the side with disdain and under his leadership, Indian cricket team touched new heights. It was under his captaincy that Indian cricket team was ranked as the number one team in the world,occupying the first position in the ICC Test Rankings.
Hearing the name of this legendary cricketer in cricket events isn’t a new thing but recently, when his name was taken by a beauty pageant, it indeed makes it very special.
Recently, Roshni Sheoran, a runner-up at the Miss Diva 2018 was asked about the contributions made by our country’s legends towards the nation,and what qualities a great leader should possess and surprisingly she came up with the name of none other than MS Dhoni.
She said :
“He has the qualities that a great leader should possess. Firstly, he is the ‘captain cool’. He can take situations in a calm way. Secondly, he always encourages his teammates to okay better and that’s teamwork. The third one being he always helps others,”
Sushant Singh Rajput and Shilpa Shetty, were the judges of the show, they were very impressed by the answers as both of them are very fond of cricket. Sushant has even portrayed the character of MS Dhoni in his biopic which turned out to be very successful movie.
