India’s sensational pacer Jasprit Bumrah is one of the most talented bowlers around the world right now. He has had a rapid rise to his international career, ever since he made his debut for team India in 2016. Over the years, he has become more like a backbone of the Indian bowling line-up.

He is the only Indian bowler to have taken five-wicket hauls in South Africa, England, Australia, and West Indies. Apart from his stellar performances, it is his unique bowling action that has made Bumrah a media darling.

Bumrah takes a short run-up to generate the pace he wants. Just a few strides before his upper body go from a closed-in position to an open-chested one midway, with his both hands creating a clock-like arc to generate pace and force.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, New Zealand cricketer Mitchell McClenaghan took a hilarious dig at Bumrah. It started after Bumrah took to his Twitter and shared a sponsored video, where he was seen going out for a run with his OnePlus Smartwatch.

As soon as the tweet caught eyes on social media, fans flooded it with their reactions to it. However, the reply that stole all the attention came from New Zealand cricketer Mitchell McClenaghan.

Mitchell McClenaghan, who is also a former teammate of Jasprit Bumrah from Mumbai Indians, took a hilarious dig at Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling action. In his tweet, Mitchell trolled Bumrah by asking him if doesn’t run with straight arms. He wrote:

“Hold up? You don’t run with straight arms???”

Meanwhile, Bumrah has begun the countdown to his first hundred wickets in the longest format of the game. So far, he has picked 92 scalps in 21 matches and he will soon be reaching the 100-wickets mark in the ongoing 5-match Test series against England.
