Recently, after re-telecasting the iconic world cup matches, Star Sports India re-telecasted historic India vs Pakistan match of 2003,  where the Indian cricket team went on to beat the Pakistani cricket team by 6-wickets.

It was the match where Mohammad Kaif gave a match-winning performance and saved the day for team India after all the top-batsmen were dismissed. He had scored 35 off 60 balls during his 102-run stand for the 3rd wicket with Sachin Tendulkar.

Mohammad Kaif took to his Twitter and shared a video of him watching the 2003’s IndvsPak match with his son Kabir. Sharing the video, Mohammad Kaif revealed that his son feels that it must be easy to play against Shoaib Akhtar. Kaif wrote:

“Thanks to @StarSportsIndia, finally Kabir gets to relive that historic #INDvPAK game. But junior isn’t too impressed with Papa, says hitting @shoaib100mph must be easy since there is pace in his bowling. Kids today I tell you…phew! Smiling face with open mouth and cold sweat”

Pakistan’s legendary fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, who was known for giving nightmares to batsmen with his extreme pace, was quick to notice the tweet and come up with a funny reply. In his tweet, he challenged Jr. Mohammad Kaif for a match. He wrote:

“Toh phir @MohammadKaif match ho jaaye Kabir aur Mikael Ali Akhtar ka?
?
He’ll get his answers about Pace. Haha
Give him my love”

Mohammad Kaif soon came up with a reply where he accepted the challenge but came up with a brilliant condition. He wrote:
“Done

@shoaib100mph

Match between two juniors while you and I help out as fielders. And in that case Kabir starts with a big advantage since he’ll have the better of the two fielders on his side ?

Love to Mikael. Stay safe. ?”
