Mohammad Kaif Is Getting Trolled For Praising Rohit Sharma

Former batter Mohammad Kaif is getting brutally trolled on social media over a tweet put out by him on the Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team that didn’t sit well with the fans on Twitter. Recently, the Indian side defeated Sri Lanka by 238 runs in Bengaluru to win the series and secured a 2-0 clean sweep in the 2-match Test series.

Following the victory, Kaif took to his Twitter and opined that under new captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid, the Indian team is emerging out as the ‘world beating’ Test team. He also wrote how suddenly everything looks fine in the Indian side. He wrote:

“KL, Rohit, Vihari, Kohli, Iyer, Pant, Jadeja, Ash, Bumrah, Shami and many No.11 options … Suddenly, it all looks fine. Under Rohit and Dravid, a world-beating Test unit is taking shape.”

The Tweet went viral in no time, however, as fans took exception to it. It didn’t sit well with the Indian cricket fans, who are now giving it back to the former cricketer. Fans argued that the team that is currently playing was developed ‘brick by brick’ by former captain Virat Kohli alongwith the support of Bharat Arun and Ravi Shastri.

There were many who trolled Kaif for ‘buttering Mumbai Lobby’ and slammed him for not giving due credits to the former captain.

Here, check out how fans are trolling him:

Meanwhile, with the win, the Indian side has jumped to the fourth position in the World Test Championship and is only behind Australia, Pakistan, and South Africa.
