Mohammad Kaif Picks His All-Time IPL XI: The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League is going on in full swing and this time, with two new teams joining the cash-rich league, the level of entertainment has been upped. While both the new teams have been dominating in the season so far, on the other hand, two of the most successful franchises โ CSK and MI are struggling badly with their form and are currently at the bottom of the table.
Meanwhile, former Indian batter Mohammad Kaif has picked his all-time Indian Premier League (IPL) XI and his list consists of many greats and prominent players of the IPL. Interestingly, he has picked six overseason players in the team while the captaincy duties have been given to the legendary captain MS Dhoni.

Talking about the opening slots, Mohammad Kaif has gone with two of the biggest power-hitters of the ball โ Chris Gayle and Rohit Sharma. Followed by them, Virat Kohli has been picked for the third position in Kaifโs all-time IPL XI.
Coming to the middle-order, Kaif has picked some GOAT players of the IPL โ Suresh Raina, AB de Villiers, and MS Dhoni. All three players have played numerous destructive knocks for their respective franchises over the years.

In an interview with a sports website, Kaif said: โGayle is a very dangerous IPL batter. Whenever he has done well, he has been a game-changer and has scored a lot of runs. Rohit Sharma has been playing for many years and has won five trophies as captain. An excellent short-format player. Virat Kohli is King Kohli. Has scored plenty of runs in the IPL,โ
He added: โHe (MS Dhoni) laid the foundation of T20 cricket in India by leading the country to victory in the 2007 World Cup. He has lifted four IPL titles as well. He is a big player in T20 and a mature captain,โ
Talking about the all-rounders in Kaifโs playing XI, he went with the destructive Andre Russell and Rashid Khan. The bowling unit comprises names like Sunil Narine, Jasprit Bumrah, and Lasith Malinga.
