Kaif, however, refrained from judging the team based on the West Indies tour. He suggested that if Sharma and Kohli needed a break, they should not have been part of the squad.
“I will judge them from the Asia Cup and the 15 they pick for the tournament,” Kaif said. He emphasized the importance of having a clear strategy from the Asia Cup onwards. “They have to be sure what their 11 is and what their backups are,” he added.
