Mohammed Shami Revealed How He Helped Man Who Fainted While Travelling From Rajasthan To Bihar

Due to the worldwide outbreak of the coronavirus, the government of India has extended the nationwide lockdown to the 3rd of May and as responsible citizens, the people of India must follow the instructions from the Prime Minister as they are. However, as per the media reports, there has been massive migration between the states as laborers or daily wage owners who are stuck away from the home states are trying to get back to their states.

Mohammed Shami Revealed How He Helped Man Who Fainted While Travelling From Rajasthan To Bihar

India’s fast bowler Mohammed Shami shared an unfortunate incident of a laborer traveling from Rajasthan to Bihar, who fainted near his home. During a live session on Instagram with the Indian cricket team’s leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Shami shared how a man who wanted to go to Bihar from Lucknow fainted very near to his house.

“He was coming from Rajasthan. Just imagine he is supposed to go to Bihar which is so far from Lucknow too. He has no means to commute and I saw in my home CCTV camera that he fainted in hunger and was close to my door. So I provided him with food and helped him out,”  Mohammed Shami said.

India’s speedster also said that highway is very near to his house and he is trying his best to help as many people as he can.

“I am trying to help as much as I can. There are migrant workers here who are really struggling to meet ends. The highway is also near my house so I can see people having a tough time. I feel I should help and I am doing as much as possible,” Mohammed Shami added.

During the live session, Mohammed Shami also recalled the most memorable moment from his cricketing career. He said that his Test debut against West Indies in Eden Gardens back in 2013 is his favourite. The pacer had picked up a total of 9 wickets in the match.
