Most Catches Off Ravichandran Ashwin’s Bowling In International Cricket

Ravi Ashwin is currently India’s best spinner in Test cricket. He boasts of an impressive record for India in the longest format of the game. He is currently out of favour in white-ball cricket but continues to be a lethal force with the red ball. Ravi Ashwin is the fastest Indian bowler to reach 50,100, 150, 200, 250, 300 and 350 wickets in Test Cricket.

With his array of variations, Ravi Ashwin has troubled batsmen, especially in sub-continent. He has often made a mockery of formidable batting units with his exceptional bowling display. Ravi Ashwin currently has 27-five wicket hauls in Test Cricket. He has 370 wickets in Test Cricket, 150 wickets in 111 ODIs and 52 wickets in 46 T20 internationals.

Both Rahane and Ashwin have not been part of India’s white-ball cricket for a long time now but play a major role in Test cricket.

Rohit Sharma hasn’t dropped catches on a lot of occasions and has one of the safest pairs of hands on the field. Rohit has taken 25 wickets off Ashwin’s bowling in international cricket. In one-day internationals, Rohit Sharma has so far grabbed 77 wickets in 224 matches.

Rohit Sharma hasn’t yet found his feet in Test Cricket and thus hasn’t taken a lot of catches in red-ball cricket yet.

He has taken the fourth most number of catches off Ravi Ashwin’s bowling in international cricket. He has 19 catches to his name of Ashwin’s bowling in international cricket. Besides, he has taken the fifth-most number of catches by an Indian cricketer in ODIs. He has 102 catches to his name in 226 one-day internationals.
