Most ODI Runs By Indians; MS Dhoni overtakes Yuvraj Singh

Mahendra Singh Dhoni played a match-winning knock against West Indies to seal a place in the quarter final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. India were struggling at 78 for 4 when MS Dhoni came in to bat. Dhoni, along with Ravichandran Ashwin batted very carefully and steered India to a 4-wicket victory.

Dhoni, during his match winning knock of 45 runs, went pass Yuvraj Singh in the list of most ODI runs by Indians. Dhoni has now scored 8,343 runs in ODI cricket, 14 more than Yuvraj Singh’s 8,329. Only four Indian batsmen are ahead of Dhoni in the list of most runs  in ODIs; Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and Mohammad Azharrudin.
