Motivational speaker Sonu Sharma posted a beautiful message for batting legend Virat Kohli, who recently announced his resignation from India’s Test captaincy.

The cricketing fraternity was left shocked after the Indian batting stalwart Virat Kohli on Saturday after he announced his decision of stepping down as the captain of the Indian Test team. The shocking and sudden announcement came a day after India’s recent 3-match Test series defeat by 1-2 against South Africa in Cape Town.

In a Twitter post, he said, “Every thing has to come to a halt at some stage and for me as Test captain of India, it’s now. There have been many ups and also some downs along the journey but there has never been lack of effort or lack of belief.”

It has to be noted that Virat Kohli’s next outing in Test format will also be his 100th in the longest format of the game. Going by the numbers, Virat Kohli has stepped down from the Test captaincy as the most successful skipper in the longest format of the game for India, having won 48 of the 60 games while registering memorable wins in overseas and home conditions.
