MS Dhoni is, arguably, the greatest captain in cricket. MS Dhoni is, arguably, the greatest finisher in ODI cricket history. MS Dhoni is, arguably, the most skilful wicketkeeper ever.

Over the years, we have seen Dhoni stay focused on the game and achieve almost everything a captain of a cricket team can wish for. Also, as a batsman, MS Dhoni has achieved greatness on the field. In the list of all time leading run scorers for India in One Day International cricket, MS Dhoni is at the number 4 spot, only behind Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly.

MS Dhoni has now reached the last stage of international career. Many cricket pundits and fans believe that the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be MS Dhoni’s last appearance in India colours and he will announce his retirement after that. But, as always, we can only predict what he is going to do, and when the time comes, he might surprise us all.

However, if we talk about his performance in the ongoing 5-match series against Sri Lanka, he is still looking fit as ever and showing to the world that what he can do in India’s batting order with his calmness, class and experience.

In the last couple of ODIs, Dhoni bailed India out from very difficult situations. In his last two innings, Dhoni showed how finishing is not all about smashing the big ones. It is also about steading the ship and staying till the end.

In third ODI, MS Dhoni remained unbeaten till the end and played a perfect partner to Rohit Sharma, who was batting aggressively and scored his 12th ODI hundred. During the match, there was a very funny moment, when angry Sri Lankan fans started throwing bottles in the middle and MS Dhoni decided to take a quick nap.

In this post, The Cricket Lounge’s Divey Chawla lists 10 incidents that prove Dhoni is one of the coolest crickets ever.
