MS Dhoni is one of the greatest cricketers in the limited-overs. Over the years, the legendary skipper has broken several records for team India and also for his IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings.

On Friday, MS Dhoni was a happy man last night after his team Chennai Super Kings won their maiden game of the ongoing 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League. CSK defeated Punjab Kings by 6 wickets at the Wankhede Stadium.

This was also the 200th match of MS Dhoni for his team Chennai Super Kings. Yes, MS walked out for the Yellow Army for the 200th time in T20 cricket, representing Chennai Super Kings and what could have been better than a victory as a gift. After the match, MS was asked how he feels about playing 200 fixtures for CSK. Responding to this, Dhoni smiled and said: “Makes me feel very old”.

Further, he went on to state that his journey with Chennai Super Kings has taken him to different countries and conditions. He also revealed the fact that he has never been happy with the Chennai wicket during his career with CSK. He said:

“I think 2011 was the last time we were happy with the Chennai wicket. After that, however hard the groundsmen tried we were not happy with the wicket,”

Praising Wankhede’s pitch, Dhoni said: “We have a good pitch here. There is movement off the seam, bounce and runs. The ball doesn’t swing a lot. So when there is no dew, it seams for an extended period.”
