The contributi0on of the former Indian cricket, MS Dhoni can never be expressed in words. He took the Indian cricket team to the number 1 position. It was under him that the Indian cricket team won all the three ICC trophies.

Speculations are on heights over MS Dhoni’s retirement ever since the World Cup ended in July this year. The former Indian skipper played his last international match against New Zealand in the semi-final of the World Cup. As soon as the world cup was over, he took a sabbatical from the game and kept on extending it.

While the speculations are growing, on the other hand, Dhoni has quietly gone about his job off the field and has been giving back to the game now.

MS Dhoni, Ranchi’s favorite son wants to repay his hometown by opening an academy there. Dhoni, who comes from a smalltown of Ranchi has gone on to become the legend of the game but he has not forgotten his roots.

According to the latest reports, MS Dhoni is all set to open an academy in Ranchi to help budding cricketers in the city fine-tune their cricketing skills. The source claimed:

“Aarka Sports, a company of Dhoni’s childhood friend and manager Mihir Diwakar, has been looking for a piece of land to open an academy and if all goes as per plan, we shall see an academy in the city in the next couple of years.”

However, this isn’t the first time that MS Dhoni has taken an initiative like this. He has opened academies in Indore, Patna, Bokaro, Nagpur, Varanasi and other cities in the country.
