As India cruised to another victory from a slightly tense situation, MS Dhoni and Rohit who scripted the victory would be happy with the way things panned out.
As India were reeling with 4 wickets down, Dhoni stepped in and defused any tension with the brilliant Rohit. India won the game by 6 wickets and sealed the ODI series against the Lankans.
However, one moment just before the match ended seemed to have caught everyone’s attention. When the game had to be paused because of unruly crowd behaviour, the players gathered in the centre while the police controlled the crowd.
During this ruckus, MS Dhoni decided to take a nap… in the middle of the field of all places. Twitter, being the eagle-eyed platform that it is, found the funny side of the ex-captain’s actions.
Time and again MS Dhoni has proved that he is the coolest cricketer. But, the way he lied down and took a small nap (we are exaggerating) in the middle, it was a great spectacle for his fans in India and around the world.
A lot of funny memes and jokes made the rounds while some were aghast at the poor attitude of the crowd.
