MS Dhoni’s sudden announcement to step down as India’s ODI and T20 captain came as a shock for Indian cricket fans. MS Dhoni has led India with command and authority in the last 10 years or so and to see him go leave the captaincy without any prior indication brought all the fans together in hailing India’s most successful limited-overs captain.
