But, the outbreak of Corona has changed the scenario and the whole world is fighting against it. India is under lockdown for 21 days as the government of India, under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, has decided to put the whole nation under complete lockdown, as social distancing is the only way to fight the corona pandemic.
Earlier, the BCCI President Sourav Ganguly had said that he can’t say anything on the possibilities of IPL 2020 as nothing has changed in the last 10 days.
“I can’t say anything at the moment. We are at the same place where we were on the day we postponed. Nothing has changed in the last 10 days. So, I don’t have an answer to it. Status quo remains,” Sourav Ganguly told PTI.
Coming back to Mumbai Indians’ tweet, it was a sad reality check for the fans when @MIPaltan tweeted:
“It’s toss time at the Wankhede”
