Fans Slam Mumbai Indians’s Tweet On Chandrayaan 3 With Rohit Sharma’s Photo

The entire country of India and Indians around the world were celebrating the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft on the moon. On Wednesday, India’s Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) made a successful soft landing on the south pole of the moon, becoming the first ever country to land on moon’s south pole.

At 6:04 IST, the lander containing a rover smoothly, and slowly made contact with the lunar surface, eking out applause and jubiliation from Indians all over the world.

Netizens erupted on social media to celebrate and congratulate ISRO for the success of this historic mission. The ISRO scientists have to overcome the setback they had faced in 2019, when the mission had failed in its last stage.

On 6 September 2019. the lander had “crashed when it deviated from its intended trajectory while attempting to land”. That time the crash was caused by a “software glitch”. The ISRO reattempted in 2023 and got success. They had launched the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft in July and it completed a 41-day trip today to have a soft landing on the south pole.
