Munaf Patel Sent A Very Motivating Message To Virat Kohli

The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli been in the spotlight because of his poor form and lack of big scores for the last two years. His poor form continued in the ongoing tour of England. On Wednesday, he found himself at the receiving end of criticism after he failed to perform on the opening day of the 3rd Test match at Leeds.

Lately, his performances haven’t been up to the mark. He hasn’t been able to score a Test hundred since November 2019. Yes, it has been 50 innings since Virat last scored a century. Infact, the Indian skipper hasn’t scored a fifty in the first two matches of the ongoing 5-match Test series. His poor performances have resulted in questions being raised over his ability to score big for his side.

Virat’s poor form has become a problem for the Indian side as neither vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane nor Cheteshwar Pujara is in the best of form and this has made the Indian middle-order vulnerable.

On the opening day of the ongoing 3rd Test match, Virat Kohli once again disappointed the fans as he failed to perform yet again. When Virat walked out to bat, there were a lot of responsibilities on his shoulders as the Indian side was reeling at 4/2, however, he failed miserably once again.

It was James Anderson’s delivery that sent Virat back to the pavilion. Anderson delivered one full outside the off-stump and Virat played a very loose-looking shot as he looked to drive through the covers but only managed an outside edge and the ball was caught by England wicket-keeper Jos Buttler.

While the skipper has been receiving criticism from all corners, there are many who are still rooting out for him. Among many, former Indian cricketer Munaf Patel also took to his Twitter and replied to the latest Tweet of Virat Kohli, where he wrote that he is waiting for his next century.

Here, check out his reply:

Work Hard ??

Century is waiting
