My friendship with Australian cricketers in over: Virat Kohli

India vs Australia 2017: After India won the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2017 2-1, India captain Virat Kohli, who didn’t play in the last Test because of an injured shoulder, came out to address the media and spoke his trademark aggressive style.

He praised the effort put in by Team India in his absence and also congratulated Australia for their spirited effort throughout the series. Kohli emphasised on Australia doing well in Asian conditions.

During his press conference, Kohli was asked if he would still be friends with Australian cricketers after a keenly fought series, and surprisingly, Virat Kohli said no.

“No, it has changed. I thought that was the case, but it has changed for sure. As I said, in the heat of the battle you want to be competitive but I’ve been proven wrong,” Kohli said.

“The thing I said before the first Test, that has certainly changed and you won’t hear me say that ever again,” he said at the post-match press conference,” the Indian captain added.
