As the upcoming 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League is just around the corner, CSK skipper and legendary Indian player MS Dhoni have been toiling hard ahead of IPL 2021 and the fans just can’t wait for the much-awaited league to begin.
Meanwhile, the owner of CSK N Srinivasan heaped praises on skipper MS Dhoni at a recent event. Srinivasan revealed how MSD has been practicing twice a day for the upcoming IPL season. Speaking at the India Today Conclave, Srinivasan said:
“For your information, MS Dhoni is in Chennai. He takes his cricket so seriously, he is practising in the indoor nets. And in the afternoon, he is practising at Chepauk. He is a very determined person and that is what we like,”

Further, Srinivasan spoke about the importance of consistency and loyalty in cricket and claimed that these two qualities are synonymous with the Chennai-based IPL franchise. He said:
“Cricket is about winning, IPL is about winning but there are also things such as consistency and loyalty and I think that is what oozes out of us”
MS Dhoni, who has been leading Chennai Super Kings since the inception of IPL in 2008, will be creating a few records in the upcoming edition of the IPL. He will become the first player to captain a franchise in 200 games. So far, MSD has captained CSK in 197 matches in his IPL career.

Meanwhile, CSK will be playing their first match of the season on 10th April against Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
