Debuting for Guyana in the West Indies Championship in 2023, Joseph ventured into List-A cricket the following year in the Super50 Cup against Barbados. Subsequently, he joined the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the CPL.
In December 2023, Joseph received his maiden Test call-up for the series against Australia, where he played a crucial role in the historic win despite a toe injury sustained from Mitchell Starc’s yorker. With West Indies being bowled out for 193, the team needed a hero, and Joseph, determined and nursing his injury, delivered a stellar performance in the fourth inning.
