India had the momentum by their side having won the first two T20Is of the series but, New Zealand had a splendid record at Hamilton hence, the Kiwis were not taken for granted in this match. Mohammed Shami later delivered the best yorker of his career to castle Ross Taylor and seal the match for India. The Indians have now secured their first ever T20I series win in New Zealand with an unassailable lead of 3-0.
