Indian Cricket Fans Trolled Jasprit Bumrah For His ‘Rare’ Bad Performance: The third T20I between New Zealand and India proved to be one of the best T20 matches of all time as the Men in Blue secured a win in the Super Over. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul chased down a total of 18 runs to seal the deal for Virat Kohli and co. Earlier in the day, India had batted first and they posted a score of 179 runs on the board at the loss of 5 wickets.

Rohit Sharma stole the show with his swashbuckling innings of 65 runs at the top while skipper Kohli made a valuable contribution of 38 runs. Hamish Bennett shone for the home side as the pace bowler scalped 3 Indian wickets and put some brakes on the run flow. Chasing a target of 180 runs in 20 overs, New Zealand got off to a flier as Martin Guptill smacked two fours and three sixes to race to 31 run off 20 deliveries. He lost his wicket to Shardul Thakur but Kane Williamson took care of the business after the opener’s dismissal.

Williamson played the best innings of his T20I career and drove New Zealand close to the target. He stayed in the middle until the final over but ultimately, he departed to the pavilion just six runs short of a well-deserved century. Unfortunately, Tim Seifert and Ross Taylor could not chase down the target as Mohammed Shami’s brilliance helped India take the match into a Super Over.

As mentioned ahead, the batsmen won the game for the team however, there was one man who had an off day on the field and that was India’s premier fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah. The Ahmedabad-based player conceded 45 runs in his 4 overs and then gave away 17 runs to the duo of Kane Williamson and Martin Guptill in the Super Over.
