After being named as the head coach, Anil Kumble has started his work immediately. While the preparations for the West Indies tour are on, Kumble had one unique challenge for the Indian players.

After a yoga session for the players, Anil Kumble took the Indian cricket team to Alur, 40 kilometres away from Bangalore for a unique  one hour challenge.

He instructed his bowlers and batsmen that they had to stick to the crease for one hour and try to not lose their wicket. On the other hand, bowlers had to try to get the maximum number of wickets in that time period.

Now, one would expect a player like Virat Kohli to succeed in this challenge. But, surprisingly Kohli got out twice in the one hour session. Ravindra Jadeja dismissed him on both occasions. Team India opener, Murali Vijay also got out twice to Ishant Sharma. While, Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed twice behind the stump.

KL Rahul and Cheteshwar Pujara got run out once. The only batsman who was not dismissed was Ajinkya Rahane. Certainly, he proved that he can become the next ‘Wall’.
