Virender Sehwag is widely regarded as one of the most destructive batsmen in cricket history. During his playing days, Sehwag destroyed almost every bowling attack around the world with his fearless and aggressive style of batting.

Sehwag kept things very simple and batted just one way, irrespective of age format, bowling attacks and playing conditions. He knew his strength and weaknesses and adjusted his game brilliantly according to the need.

Now, Sehwag has retired from international cricket. He has taken up cricket commentary and just like his batting, he is entraining his fans and followers with aggressive and entertaining style of commentary. He is extremely popular on Twitter for his funny, witty and sarcastic tweets.

This tweet didn’t go down too well with former Pakistani cricketer Rashid Latif and he made a video in which he said many insulting things about Virender Sehwag. He made it public and didn’t hold back his words while criticising Sehwag for his remarks. Watch his video here:

India cricket fans were waiting to see Sehwag’s reply. But, Viru being Viru, didn’t reply back in the same manner and chose to stay silent. And this how he replied:

“A meaningful silence is always better than meaningless words.”

A meaningful silence is always better than meaningless words.
