Owner Of Lucknow Franchise Posted An Absurd Tweet For KL Rahul

India’s sensational batter KL Rahul is leading the Indian cricket team in the absence of regular Test skipper Virat Kohli in the ongoing second Test match against South Africa. Leading the national side in the longest format of the game is the biggest milestone for any cricketer.

After winning the toss on Monday, KL Rahul also expressed his emotions and said that it is like a dream to captain the Test side. He said: “It is every Indian player’s dream to captain his country. Really honored and looking forward to this challenge.“

However, to everyone’s surprise, when KL Rahul walked out to open the innings for the Indian side alongwith Mayank Agarwal, there was no sponsors tag on his bat and his bat just looked like a plain wooden stick without any stickers on it. This was a rare sight for the fans as every player is seen with a sponsor sticker on his bat.

KL Rahul is often spotted with a sticker of SG on his bat as he had signed a sponsorship deal with Meerut-based illustrious manufacturer SG (Sanspareils Greenlands). While he had no sticker on his bat today, but Rahul’s batting gloves still have an ‘SG’ symbol on them.

As soon as the fans noticed that there was no sponsor sticker on KL Rahul’s bat, fans on social media started speculating the reason behind the same. Meanwhile, while reacting to one of the Tweets on KL Rahul’s blank bat, IPL’s Lucknow franchise owner Harsh Goenka took to his Twitter and posted an absurd tweet for KL Rahul.
